France and Brazil will go head to head at the Stade de France in an international friendly on Thursday, the 26th of March. Check the live TV and online streaming broadcast listings for France vs Brazil below.

The World Cup 1998 finalists will meet in an exhibition match which will serve as good practice as Brazil and France prepare for the Copa American and the Euro 2016 respectively. France will not have to compete in the Euro 2016 Qualification campaign being the host nation and will use friendlies to make sure they are in the right shape before the event.

There will be some big stars during the match, but probably none bigger than Barcelona star Neymar. The 23 year old has improved in leaps and bounds in recent years and played a pivotal role in Brazil's World Cup campaign before getting injured. Neymar who will be captaining the Seleção  has expressed his excitement ahead of the big fixture. The Barcelona man also spoke about the World Cup Final played between the two sides back in 1998, but claims there are no old scores to be settled.

“I love to play games like this,” he said.

“Two huge national teams, and a packed stadium in the opponent's home. It will be a great game.

“I remember the game and France's three goals very well. We were all very sad at home. But this match has nothing to do with 1998. That story has been overcome. Brazil are five-time world champions.”

"These are very important matches to see where we need to improve and where we still have problems. These will be matches at a very high level and a good test."

Atletico Madrid defender Miranda is set to partner Thiago Silva at the heart of the defence with David Luis ruled out of the tie and the 30 year old is expecting a difficult match against les bleus.

“In football, especially as a defender, you cannot fail,” he said.

“In this position, we have to be alert all the time, and that's what I try to do every time I play for the national team."

Brazil and France have met five times following their meeting in the 1998 World Cup Final, four of these match have been won by the European side. However it was Brazil who triumphed in the last meeting between the two sides with Oscar, Hernanes and Lucas Moura getting on the score sheet for the five time world champions.

Deschamps will be without talismanic midfielder Paul Pogba for the match who has been ruled out with a hamstring injury. Tottenham's first choice keeper Hugo Lloris is also unlikely to feature having picked up a knee injury. Gabriel Paulista on the other hand as been called by Brazil and could be handed a debut having impressed in Arsenal as well as Villarreal colours this season.
