After 112 matches and 325 goals, the Champions League has reached its quarter-final stage. Here’s when and where to watch the Last 8 draw in live streaming on Friday, March 20, 2015.

Hard luck to English participants; there are none left! Liverpool exited the competition early as they failed to overcome Real Madrid and FC Basel in their group. Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City all reached the Last 16 only to suffer heartbreaks.

The Blues lost 3-3 on aggregate as a resilient PSG – inspired by defenders Thiago Silva and David Luiz – stunned the home crowd at Stamford Bridge.

The Gunners had themselves to blame for allowing AS Monaco to school them 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg. They fought back to become the first English side to beat the hosts at the Stade Louis II. However, the 2-0 win was not enough to advance. Like their London rivals Chelsea, Arsenal crashed out 3-3 on aggregate.

Meanwhile, the Citizens went out beaten in both legs by Barcelona – 2-1 at home and 1-0 away. The damage would have been bigger if it wasn’t for Joe Hart’s heroics to deny the mesmerizing Lionel Messi from finding the back of the net in the two matches.

And so the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League adventure continues without English teams. The Last 8 counts three Spanish teams (Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona), two French teams (PSG and AS Monaco), and one team each from Germany (Bayern Munich), Portugal (FC Porto) and Italy (Juventus).

Luis Adriano currently remains this season’s UCL topscorer with nine goals but due to Shakhtar Donetsk’s elimination by Bayern, expect Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo – who are both on eight goals – to finally dethrone the Brazilian striker in the race for the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League Golden Boot.
