Even though Manchester City were not able to stop Barcelona's Champions League run, Joe Hart had a night to remember. The English goalkeeper earned worldwide praises after a stunning performance at Camp Nou, denying a goal to Barca's attacking trio of Neymar, Suarez and mostly, Lionel Messi,
Hart's show began after Ivan Rakitic made it 1-0 for the hosts, including 1-on-1 victories over Neymar and Messi. Particularly, the Argentinian was denied several times by the English shot-stopper, who kept his team's hopes alive for most of the game.
Tonight it was not Barca vs MCity...it was Ter Stegen vs Joe Hart! #respect they both did awesome jobs!

Joe Hart made 10 saves today. A keeper hadn't done that in Champions since Casillas in Turín, 05.11.2013

Messi, Neymar and Suarez could have all had hattrick's but JOE HART #FCBCity

Barca could have won that 6-1 but for brilliant Joe Hart. But at least City had a go second half. Right team obviously advanced.

Hart last off the pitch as #mcfc fans sing "England's No 1". Best display of his career. He'll probably stop Neymar getting down the tunnel

But Hart's display was not the only one to earn praises. On the other side of the pitch, Marc-André Ter Stegen had one of the greatest performances using Barcelona's jersey. His penalty save against Sergio "Kun" Aguero also earned him quite a bit of applause, even fueling a debate about whether he should start on Sunday against Real Madrid.

Ter Stegen was huge for us. Huge. That penalty save denied what could have ended up being a long 15 minutes or so.
