The Argentinian superstar revealed in an interview that his life took a turn after the birth of his son.

Often referred to as a quiet man, Lionel Messi shared a bit of his personal life in an interview. Talking about life on the pitch and with his team, the four-time Ballon D'Or winner referred to his son, Thiago, as the biggest inspiration after he was born.

"Thiago is the most important thing in my life, the best thing that has ever happened to me. My life has changed massively since his birth. Antonella has told me that he recognises me when I'm on the TV, which is nice," the striker stated.

Strangely enough, Messi shared some of his hobbies outside the pitch, and established how he can live his life in Barcelona without worrying about anything happening to him.

"People are very polite towards me. They ask me for photos and autographs, but I can go for a walk without any problems. I do not suffer intrusion in my private life by the media in Barcelona. I like to stay home with my family and watch TV. I also play FIFA, I'm the best when playing with my friends," Barcelona's Number 10 added.

Asked about his playing style, Messi refers to himself as a "gambler", stating he always tries to use his skills for the good of his team, rather than achieving personal glory.

"On the pitch I'm always looking to make the best move or the best decision, while trying not to do what the opponent expects me to do. I use the huge pressure to be better because pressure helps me to develop my skills," the Argentinian concluded.
