For many years, Rio Ferdinand was not even allowed to speak in favor or Chelsea even if he wanted to. Now that he no longer plays for Manchester United, he does not feel a restraint from talking about the Blues.
Ferdinand currently plays for Queens Park Rangers. When asked on Wednesday morning about who would win between Chelsea and PSG, his answer might be a bit surprising to many.

“I think Chelsea will go through. They can win ugly and they know how to win,” Ferdinand
The 36-year-old defender had countless encounters against Chelsea while he played for the Red Devils. After 12 years of constant battles, he knows what Chelsea is capable off with old and new players.
Chelsea can always find a way to win according to Ferdinand
“When you have someone like [Eden] Hazard in the form he’s in, with [Cesc] Fabregas supporting him and [Diego] Costa who can finish chances off, they’re always going to be with a chance,” Ferdinand added.
He also went to talk about his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo who saved Real Madrid’s ticket to the quarter-finals.
“He’s having a bad time at the moment, be he knocked tow goals in out of nothing. The guy is just relentless in his desire to be one of the best players to have ever played the game and that’s great to see,” Ferdinand said.

Both players helped Man United lift the Champions League trophy back in 2008. In the end, Ferdinand hopes CR7 has another shot at winning the final.
