Mourinho compared PSG to all other teams in every competition Chelsea played. He was surprised by PSG's physicality.

Out of all the teams that Mourinho has faced with Chelsea in the 2014-2015 season, the one they will play today at Stamford Bridge is the hardest one. Paris Saint Germain has something that goes beyond their skill level.

“This season we have played teams from the Championship, League One and League Two, but the most aggressive team was PSG,” Mourinho said.

That was what the Special One was not counting on when he planned the game. He knows very well there is quality in Paris Saint Germain’s side. When both teams met, PSG played a much more physical game than expected.

“I thought a team from England would never be surprised by aggression, because aggression is in our country,” Mourinho added.

The Special One was aware that Hazard received 9 fouls it the game at ParisHazard was fouled 9 times in the first leg of the matchup

To set an example, he referred to how PSG stopped Eden Hazard at Parc des Princes. The French side would normally two or three men on top of the opposing players and most likely committing fouls to get the ball back.

“If dominating means stopping your opponent from playing, making foul after foul, yes they also dominated,” Mourinho said.

The Portuguese manager recognized that his team did not create as many chances in the first leg of their matchup against PSG. Laurent Blanc, PSG's coach, had previously spoken of how Diego Costa’s tactics' affects his players.

“He will try to provoke a reaction. We need to stay calm, not get caught up in his game. We need to be as effective as possible in stopping him,” Le Blanc said.

The first leg in Paris ended in a 1-1 draw; in London it’s anybody’s game. Chelsea looks to knock out of the competition just like last year? If Chelsea's players want a big bonus from their coach, they don’t have another option but to keep advancing.
