Take a look at some highlights concerning one of the most ancient tournaments in football history.

The third round of the Copa Libertadores group stage ended yesterday, giving fans some interesting highlights in the process.

Among those teams involved in Thursday's action were laureated Argentinian team River Plate, Mexican runner ups Tigres, historic Chilean side Universidad de Chile, Estudiantes La Plata and Colombian side Atletico Nacional. River Plate hosted the Mexicans and ended up giving away one point, after a late equalizer by Carlos Sanchez. Universidad de Chile played a quality game in front of their home crowd, beating Bolivian side The Strongest with a 3-1 score.

During the game between the Mexicans and the Argentinians, Ramiro Funes Mori was knocked out by his goalkeeper. Take a look at that moment below.

Meanwhile, in Chile, Universidad managed to come back against The Strongest. The hosts dominated the Bolivian side, but were able to reflect their dominance on the scoreboard until late in the game. Here's some of that game's highlights.
