The French International is set to make a move to Barcelona, but the team's transfer ban may let him extend his run with Juventus at least six months.

With Paul Pogba's future seemingly away from Juventus, his next destination could be sorted out soon. Sources indicate the French midfielder could be joining La Liga giants Barcelona in January 2016, once the club's transfer ban ends. Barcelona can make dealings with other clubs, but no player can join them until next year's transfer window.

Reports from Spanish newspaper Marca indicated earlier this week Pogba could make a move to Real Madrid, but with a heavily populated midfield, his chances of performing alongside Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and James Rodriguez seemed unlikely. However, a move to Barcelona could be fueled by the signing of Ariedo Braida, former AC Milan scout, who has established a working relationship with Mino Raiola, the player's agent.

Initially, the player would be open to make a move away from the "Vecchia Signora", and with the transfer ban pending to end, Barcelona's officers would loan the player for the next six months, complying with the ban's regulations.

Barça's president Josep Maria Bartomeu would use Pogba's transfer as his key move towards renewing his tenure as Los Blaugranas ruler, just like Joan Laporta did years ago when he signed Ronaldinho. Meanwhile, the Italian club has stated that they would not part ways with the midfielder if the bidding club doesn't pay them at least 100 million euros.
