100 days to Go: CTV, TSN, and RDS Announce FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015™ Broadcast Schedule

Bell Media’s CTV, TSN, and RDS, official broadcasters of FIFA events between 2015 and 2026 including the FIFA World Cup™ in 2018, 2022 and 2026, today announced the broadcast schedule for the FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP CANADA 2015™.

In total, the networks will cover the tournament in its entirety, delivering live broadcast coverage of all 52 games from the FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP CANADA 2015™.

Today’s announcement marks the 100-day countdown to the tournament, with the opening match kicking off Saturday, June 6 at 6 p.m. ET on CTV/RDS featuring host Canada taking on China PR at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton. Taking place in six cities across Canada (Edmonton, Moncton, Montréal, Ottawa, Vancouver, and Winnipeg), the FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP CANADA 2015™culminates with the Final on Sunday, July 5 at 7 p.m. ET on CTV/RDS at BC Place in Vancouver.

Broadcast schedule highlights:

·         All Canada games will be broadcast live on CTV and CTV GO, and RDS and RDS GO

·         Next-day encore presentations of all Canada games on TSN and TSN GO

·         Live coverage of every single match (52 games in total)

·         Pre-game shows for all games

·         30-minute prime-time recap shows throughout the tournament

In addition to televising all games nationally:

·         As noted above, all games will be streamed live to TV subscribers on corresponding GO platforms

·         Live radio coverage of every Canada match and the playoffs, along with a nightly recap show, is available on TSN Radio stations across the country, TSN.ca/Radio, and on the TSN GO app

The FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP CANADA 2015™ on CTV, TSN and RDS marks the first competition from Bell Media’s newly extended 12-year deal, announced earlier this month, with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
