Even in a team where everyone is praised for their quality, there are players who shine brighter than others. Arda Turan is one of those men in Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.
The Argentinian coach acknowledged that with him on the pitch, things are mostly positive for his team. The Turkish midfielder is expected to play in Wednesday’s Champions League game against Bayer Leverkusen.

Turan missed two training sessions due to a bruised right thigh. The 28-year-old suffered the injury over the weekend when they played Almeria.
Simeone hopes he can count on Turan to face Bayer Leverkusen 
The midfielder who does not stand a chance of playing is Koke. The Spanish international, who has been recently linked with Manchester City, is recovering from a hamstring injury he suffered in the game against Real Madrid.
If Turan can’t play at BayArena this Wednesday, it is most likely to see Raul Garcia back in action for Los Colchoneros. The second leg of this matchup is scheduled for March 17 at the Vicente Calderon.
“We hope that Arda is okay to play,” was what the Argentinian manager wished for during his last press conference prior to the game.
