Andrea Pirlo left the pitch during the first half of the game due to an injury yet to be determined.

Juventus and Borussia Dortmund delivered an exciting match for fans around the world, which was decided by Alvaro Morata's late goal in the first 45 minutes. The Bianconeri will try to hold their one goal lead at Borussia Dortmund's ground, while Jurgen Klopp's side will try to make Marco Reus' strike count in the aggregate.

Juventus scored the game opener thanks to Carlos Tevez after 13 minutes of the match. This was the Argentinian's fourth goal in his most recent seven Champions League games. But just five minutes later, Marco Reus equalized after capitalizing on Giorgio Chiellini's bad footwork. Things started to look gloomy for the Vecchia Signora when Andrea Pirlo limped off the field, leaving Juve's creative capabilities to Pogba and Tevez.

Just when the game approached the break, Tevez fed the ball to Pogba, who crossed the ball down the box. Alvaro Morata tapped the ball in to give Juventus an advantage they would not lose. Morata's goal was the first one scored by a Spanish player for an Italian team during knockout stages.

Dortmund attempted to strike back, but they were not able to break Juve's defense despite enjoying a few chances. Now, they will have to wait and see how Juve recovers from Pirlo's injury, who could be out for a month, according to the team's physicians.
