While Arsenal is known for missing opportunities at signing great players, Santi Cazorla believes that they hit the jackpot with Alexis Sanchez. The Chile forward came to Arsene Wenger’s team over the summer after playing with Barcelona.

“He’s the best signing in the Premier League,” Cazorla confessed to Sport Magazine.

Sánchez has scored 18 goals in all competitions with his new team. Cazorla says that what is seen in every game, is a result of Alexis' hard work during training.

“On the training pitch, his work-rate is extraordinary too,” Cazorla said. “He’s ambitious, he wants to get better with every training session.”

The decision by his teammate to leave Barcelona was a great one according to Santi. His performance in all 34 games he’s played as a Gunner is a proof of that. The work ethic by the Chilean player has impressed everyone on the team.

Alexis has helped Arsenal stay in the fight for a top-five finish in the Premier League, as well as making it to the Round of 16 in the Champions League. The Spanish international believes 25-year-old has proved his value with Arsenal.

“There were plenty of good signings – like Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas – but Alexis Sanchez has been huge for us,” Cazorla said about his new teammate.
