Given Radamel Falcao's disappointing season, Manchester United may have their eyes set on another South American striker, and it would be none other than Edinson Cavani. The former Napoli player has been subject to rumors about a possible transfer out of Paris Saint-Germain, since his role with Les Parisiens under Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not as rewarding as he believed when he arrived to the French capital.
Another rumor surrounding a South American striker is the one placing Argentinian Mauro Icardi away from Inter Milan. The fomer Sampdoria striker would be willing to play for Juventus, while Chelsea's boss Jose Mourinho wants him to replace Didier Drogba with The Blues, since the Ivory Coast forward is likely to hang his boots this summer.
But if Icardi's move to Chelsea wasn't enough, Raphael Varane could end up re-joining his former Real Madrid boss with Stamford Bridge's side. Sources indicate the French center back is frustrated by his role with Los Blancos, and would be pushing for an exit this summer.
