The Italian coach blasted Real Madrid and Barcelona's players for complaining about Atletico's methods, while applauding Fernando Torres' current form.

Italian coach Fabio Capello shared his thoughts about La Liga's top contenders, saving no words when talking about his former team Real Madrid. The current Russian team's boss criticized Barcelona and Real Madrid players for complaining about Atletico's playing style, which he considers quite appropriate.

"Atletico is not a violent team. Football is not for puss***. They are a team that always gives 100%, they've got lots of courage, not like Real Madrid and Barcelona. And it's just that they don't care if they suffer in order to win, they want to show they are truly a unit. There's no such thing as a violent team, they're just physical, and that's how the game has to be played always," Capello said.

But that was not the only gem Capello stored for his former club. According to the Italian manager, the real issue with Los Blancos' current predicament is none other than depending so much on what their strikers can do, leaving the "working class heroes" on the sidelines.

"The problem with Real Madrid is that they have always thought that having great strikers will solve every situation. When it's crunch time, that team in particular needs players with both personality and top level skills. They need Pepe, they need Ramos, those kind of players," Capello added.

Finally, Capello referred to one of his favorite players: Fernando Torres. The Italian manager applauded El Niño's decision of returning to Atletico, where he trusts he can regain his old form.

"I'm very happy for Torres, he's always been a very serious lad. He had some problems after leaving Liverpool, because he could never play like he's used to during his stint with Chelsea. Moving back to Atletico was the best thing he could do," Capello ended.
