The yearly report has Real Madrid as the top earning club for the tenth consecutive season, followed by Manchester United and Bayern Munich

With an important contribution by Real Madrid and Manchester United, the only clubs to earn more than €500 million, the top 20 richest clubs in the world managed to add up an astounding €6.2 billion euros for the 2013-2014 season.

As reported earlier this year by Deloitte's Football Money League analysis, Real Madrid's revenue hit the €549.5 million mark, while Manchester United tallied €518 million, despite not winning any trophies last season and not being able to play in any European competition. Deloitte's forecast expects that the top five clubs around the world reach the €500 million milestone. According to this year's report, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are set to join Los Blancos and the Red Devils in the €500 million club.

One of the key figures for each of the twenty richest clubs are TV rights. Representing almost 40% of their total income, the Premier League managed to include eight teams among the top 20. In fact, every team playing in the English top flight last season made it into the top 40, being the only league to feature all their teams in the wealthiest club list.

But for every winner, there's always a loser. Serie A teams have not been able to re-establish their dominance among the richest clubs, being Juventus the only Italian side featuring among the top ten wealthiest teams in the world. Back in 2001, there were five teams from Italy inside the top ten.
