Luis Suarez scored the second out of five Barcelona goals. It is just his second goal with Barcelona away from Camp Nou.

Luis Suarez is making headlines after finding the back of the net for the first time in 430 minutes. His goal gave Barcelona a 2-0 lead in a game where they ended up defeating Athletic Bilbao 5-2.

This is just his sixth goal as a Culé, and on Sunday night at San Mamés, the second time he scored away from Camp Nou. The last time he scored was against Atletico Madrid on January 11.

Messi gave his team a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute. Ten minutes later the Uruguayan striker found his chance to shine. He got the ball just ahead of the midfield and gave it to Messi. La Pulga took the ball with him to the right edge of the 18-yard box where he passed it back to Suarez for him to take all the glory.

“I'm very self-critical, but I knew I'd get the goal with the support of my family and friends,” Suarez said after the game.

It was a play that combined speed, creativity and class. Suarez helped Barcelona take advantage of Real Madrid’s loss against Atletico Madrid on Saturday. They are now just one point behind the leaders with 16 games left to play.

“I'm not nervous, but what worries me is when I feel like I'm not helping the team,” he said after the game.

Athletic seemed make a strong push for a comeback early in the second half by narrowing the lead (2-4). That was until Barcelona’s #9 received a nasty tackle from Xabier Etxeita who was immediately sent off with a red card. Pedro sealed the deal moments later in a night where Messi and Neymar also got their chance to score.
