For the first time this season, Tottenham Hotspur will sleep ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League standings, after Harry Kane's brace lifted Pocchetino's men over Arsene Wenger's crew during this season's second North London Derby.
Things for Arsenal seemed to start quite correctly, with Mesut Özil's goal after eleven minutes, and dominating most of the first half with chances to broaden the gap between the two sides. But the Gunners were not able to score and they paid the price. Kane's first goal came after a corner kick rejected by Ospina, who failed to clear the ball away from his 5-yard box. The English striker collected the rebound and sent the ball into the Colombian's net. It was the first goal conceded by Ospina in four Premier League games.
With Hugo Lloris keeping the score even with two great saves, it was time for Kane to become the hero of the day, when he buried a header into Ospina's posts, following a cross by Nabil Bentaleb. Fans went crazy and Arsenal tried to give Arsene Wenger at least one point during his 700th ever game coaching Arsenal, but the dice had already been rolled.
