Despite the controversy he has courted over the years, Luis Suarez has been pretty quiet--both off and on the pitch-- since making his £75 million move from Liverpool to Barcelona this past summer.
The former Ajax man had to serve a lengthy fan after biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at this summer's World Cup and has yet to hit the same goal-scoring form that saw him win the European Golden Shoe last season.
Well, this latest advert is certainly going to get people talking. Alongside Real Madrid stars Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, and James Rodriguez, the Uruguayan international invites his haters to bring it on. After all, everyone is familiar with the statement "that which does not kill you makes you stronger".
Adidas is certainly building on this notion, arguing throughout the course of this short marketing clip that hate simply fuels players to do even better, and shows the La Liga stars in a variety of situations that many have mocked them for in the past.

Not surprisingly, given that Suarez is among the more polarizing players to the game, some fans flooded social media as per usual to express their opinions:
Adidas' #therewillbehaters marketing campaign is amazing. Clearly paying off. What a stroke of genius to include Suarez in the ads.

The #therewillbehaters campaign is great, but the only one in the entire advert that I hate is Suarez
