Sources indicate the Chinese businessman will have 20% of the team's stock. Jianlin's investment will be approximately of 45 million euros.

Spanish Champions Atletico Madrid will reveal on Wednesday the agreement with Chinese businessman Wang Jianlin. The billionaire will have a 20% participation in the team's decisions, leaving Miguel Angel Gil and Enrique Cerezo their current influence in the club's agenda.

The team's commitment with Jianlin will include the creation of five Atletico Madrid academies in Chinese territory as well as the inclusion of new sponsors for the club. Furthermore, Los Colchoneros will be traveling for a series of friendly matches in that region. Miguel Angel Gil's intention is to broaden the team's market, since they believe the club could build a strong fanbase in that part of the globe.

Sources indicate the Chinese entrepreneur will invest 45 million euros for his participation on the team's decisions, and will have one of his trusted men as part of the Board of Directors. Atletico Madrid will be required to stay among the top three contenders in La Liga, since the Chinese investors hope to make some profit as soon as possible.
