For La Liga fans it has been an interesting weekend indeed.
First Cristiano Ronaldo grabbed himself a brace as his team cruised to a comfortable win, and in doing so, set some records in the process.
And not to be outdone, the man that he has shared the past 7 Ballon d'Or trophies with, Lionel Messi, scored his fourth goal in two games with a well-taken hat-trick to power Barcelona to a win over Deportivo.
Given that these two are widely regarded as the bst in the game and perhaps even in history, fans took to Twitter to express their opinions on his feat--which makes it his 22nd in La Liga so far.
The man with the most, though? Cristiano Ronaldo, who has 23.
