The Dutch international also spoke about his years with Bayern and what would be his intentions once he retires from pro football.

Dutch international Arjen Robben stated in an interview he is "delighted" to have chosen Bayern Munich years ago, adding that the best thing that could have happened to him was leaving Real Madrid when he was 25 years old.

"I arrive here after my 25th birthday, and I couldn't be more happy with that decision. Leaving Real Madrid at that age was the best thing that happened to me. We've lived great times with this team, winning a lot of trophies, and I am truly proud of what this club has accomplished since I've been here," Robben stated.

Asked about what he will do when the time comes to step aside, the controversial wingman has not made up his mind on whether he is going to become a manager or if he will take other kind of duties.

"I don't know what the future will have in store for me. When I'm done playing, maybe I will start coaching. On the other hand, I could end up doing something totally different. Right now I don't want to think about it, I just want to keep on playing," revealed the 30-year old player.
