Although their most rabid fans are known to engage in ridiculous fights on the internet and social media, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have nothing but the most utmost respect for each other as rivals.
So, it would probably surprise some of these fans that the three-time Ballon d'Or winner's son is actually a huge fan of his father's rival, Lionel Messi.
The young child had a change to meet the man his father has shared the past seven Ballon d'Or prizes with at the ceremony on Monday and like many children when given the opportunity to meet one of their idols, was quite shy.

Still it was an interesting moment and further illustrated that some supporters of these two top players are the ones blowing things out of proportion. Perhaps some of them will relax a bit after seeing this?
