The German manager was nominated along Carlo Ancelotti and Argentinian Diego Simeone.

Germany's Manager Joachim Löw was revealed as FIFA's Coach of the Year. The World Champion was the favorite candidate to win the award, despite facing tough competitors as Carlo Ancelotti and Diego Simeone.

The German coach has been in charge of his home country's National Team since 2006, after Jürgen Klinsmann left the position. Löw led Germany into the semi finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, and won last year's tournament held in Brazil in an overtime thriller against Argentina.

Löw praised his fellow nominees and every youth coach all around the world, since he claims he could have not performed his job the way he has if there weren't any talented players surrounding him. Löw has coached 118 games with Die Mannschaft, winning 80 of them.
