The Uruguayan striker bought a house in downtown Roma, fueling rumors of a possible transfer to the current second place holders in the Italian top flight.

One of the most desired forwards available is Edinson Cavani. The Uruguayan, who has stated he is not comfortable with his secondary role with Paris Saint Germain, could be plotting his return to Italian Serie A. According to sources, the player bought a house in downtown Roma, as a possible hint of where he could be playing in the near future.

Roma are currently one point behind Juventus in the Italian Serie A, and would be seeking to sign another striker to provide them a necessary boost to end Juve's reign. Cavani would be a perfect fit for them, as his best years came when he played for Napoli.

Cavani has been linked to several teams during this season, mostly after his known disagreement with coach Laurent Blanc for not giving him the chance to play near the opponent's net in favor of Swedish Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Recently, the Uruguayan was suspended by the team for extending his winter holidays, and his acquisition in Italy could mean he is one step closer to end his tenure with the French champions.

If the Uruguayan does not complete his move to Italy's capital city, other clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea could make a move to sign him, since they have been interested in signing the former Napoli goal scorer.
