The Swiss wingman will sign a four-year deal with the Nerazzurri, who also signed German International Lukas Podolski on loan.

Inter Milan keep adding talent to their squad, as they finished off a deal today with Bayern Munich for Swiss wingman Xherdan Shaqiri. The 23-year old will pen a four year deal with the Nerazzurri, who agreed to pay the German champions 15 million euros for the player's services.

Shaqiri was targeted by several teams, including Italian champions Juventus and English sides Stoke City and Liverpool. Juventus ceased to look for the Swiss player in order to sign Wesley Sneijder, while bids from the Reds and the Potters were not satisfying enough for the Bavarian club. Shaqiri will earn 2.75 million euros per year, according to reports.

Inter agreed to sign the player on loan for the remainder of this season for an amount of 2 million euros. Then, the Italian club will have to pay 12 million to make the deal permanent. If Roberto Mancini's squad makes it into the 2015-16 UEFA Champions League, they will have to pay an undisclosed bonus to Bayern Munich.

Shaqiri joined Bayern from Swiss side Basel back in 2012, scoring 17 goals in 81 matches for the Bavarian club, but he was never able to secure a starting spot with Pep Guardiola's team due to the presence of such players like Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.

The Italian side revealed the player's transfer through their Twitter feed.
