The German striker had been targeted to leave Arsenal for quite some time now, and will be joining former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini with the 'nerazzurri'

German striker Lukas Podolski completed his loan deal with Inter today, being unveiled by the Italian side through their Twitter feed. The news was also confirmed by Arsenal's website, giving details about the operation.

"Lukas Podolski has completed a move to Inter Milan on loan for the remainder of the 2014-15 season. The 29-year-old forward has scored 31 goals in 82 appearances for Arsenal since arriving from Cologne in the summer of 2012. This term, he has made two starts and 11 substitute outings for the Gunners, netting three times," can be read on the Gunners' website.

Podolski was heavily rumored to leave Arsenal during the past transfer window, having Tottenham as his possible destination. After Olivier Giroud's injury, Arsene Wenger decided to keep the German international with the team, but chose not to use him frequently. Podolski was greeted by his new club through their Twitter feed, and it has been revealed he will be part of the 18-man squad facing Juventus tomorrow.

Terms between the two teams have not been revealed as of now.
