FA Cup action will continue when Yeovil Town host Manchester United at Huish Park this Sunday. The League One outfit will try to pull a stunner against the Red Devils, who have a particular interest on winning this Cup and making ammends with their fans after United's early Capital One Cup elimination against MK Dons.
Man United's Dutch manager Louis Van Gaal established the relevance of Sunday's matchup against the Glovers, considering the disappointing performance his men had in their August match against MK Dons.
"In the Netherlands we have known for many years that the FA Cup is one of the most important competitions in football. We have learned from the Milton Keynes game, they are also in League One. Everything about playing a lower league team will be different; the pitch, the stadium," Van Gaal stated.
For this match, the Dutch boss may consider starting some players that have not enjoyed enough playing time such as Adnan Januzaj, who has been subject of rumors regarding his immediate future. Furthermore, Radamel Falcao and Wayne Rooney could participate in this match to avoid any surprises for Manchester United.
This could prove to be the last time Yeovil Town could provide some joy to their fans, since their League One season has been rather disappointing. Currently in last place of their tournament, Clover boss Gary Johnson will try to turn United's visit into the much needed motivation in order to avoid being relegated.
