Perhaps two of the most questioned managers in the EPL these days, Sunday's match between Arsenal and Liverpool could give a positive boost for either side, or send them to the abyss.

Arsenal and Liverpool have struggled throughout this season for a number of circumstances, but fans and media point to their managers for obvious reasons. Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers have endured hard times during the 2014-15 season, and Sunday's match could prove to be decisive for one of them.

Brendan Rodgers lost the magic touch he enjoyed last season. Without Luis Suarez and with his current strikers performing poorly, Liverpool has been one of this year's most disappointing teams. Following a season when they ended up short of winning their first Premier League title, this calendar has brought nothing but sadness to their fans, even watching them eliminated in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League. Apparently, Rodgers loved the fact that some players -like Suarez- left the club, but the money raised with their departure was not used to substitute the Uruguayan correctly. Added to that, the Reds' problems with their goalkeepers have made fans furious, since they believe the team could have signed a better shot-stopper than Simon Mignolet, who was demoted to the bench against Man United.

Perhaps Rodgers' future could be at stake because of some of this flaws, but the most important thing for the Merseyside team should be trying to find the will and intensity they seem to have lost. Players like Jordan Henderson, Raheem Sterling, Steven Gerrard or Mario Balotelli should carry the team on their shoulders, since it's been pretty clear that the Reds are no longer a one-man show like they were with Suarez.

Arsenal's run this year has not been as bad as you would think, but fans still believe Arsene Wenger's time as their coach needs to end. Le Prof has endured trolling throughout the year for numerous reasons, but the main issue has always been his approach when it comes to signings.

Arsene Wenger hit the spot with Alexis Sanchez, perhaps the best signing for a Premier League side this season, but the feelings about his expenditure on the back are mixed. Yes, the Gunners signed some players, but none of them has made quite the difference for them. If you put together these issues, then you can imagine why fans keep Wenger under pressure every time things don't turn the way they expected. If Arsenal got near to receiving a beating like the one they endured last season at Anfield Road, then that could be too much to handle for Wenger, since the team's supporters would destroy his hard-earned reputation.
