Prior to the draw on Monday, the Arsenal midfielder took to Instagram to poke fun at the Red Devils in hilarious manner.

Odd at first, everyone has probably got used to the fact that Manchester United are not in this season’s Champions League.

An ever constant presence on the European stage during Sir Alex Ferguson's era, last year’s disastrous reign under David Moyes means the Old Trafford side were watching the draw for the round of 16 over the television screen, whilst Chelsea, Manchester City, and Arsenal awaited their opponents for the next round.

This was something Arsenal’s Tomas Rosicky was keen to point out, and in what hilarious fashion he did.

Before the draw had even kicked off, the Czech midfielder took to Instagram to troll the 20-time English Premier League champions, posting this cruel picture:

No need for worry though for the Manchester United fans. Under the guidance of Dutch tactician Louis Van Gaal, the Red Devils look set for a return to the Champions League next season, as they currently occupy third spot in the standings.

Arsenal, on the other hand, sit outside the top four in fifth place.
