After netting a record-breaking 23rd La Liga hat-trick, and becoming the fastest player ever to score 200 goals in Spain's top-flight, Sergio Ramos was lost for words to describe the Portuguese superstar.

When you look at Cristiano Ronaldo's crazy stats from this season, or even calendar year, can anyone really disagree with Sergio Ramos' most recent comments?

The Real Madrid defender was full of praise for his Portuguese team-mate, claiming new adjectives need to be added to the English dictionary in order to describe the 2013 Ballon d'Or winner, after Ronaldo guided Los Blancos to 3-0 home victory over Celta Vigo, an 18th consecutive win in all competitions for the league leaders.

Scoring all three goals of the night, the 29-year-old attacker, in one game, broke two different La Liga records. Cristiano became the player with the most number of hat-tricks in the Spanish Primera Division on Saturday, with a record 23 to his name, surpassing the previous tally of 22.

The Real Madrid ace, who has netted a whopping 23 goals in 13 appearances this season, also became the fastest player in history to score 200 goals in the Liga BBVA, reaching this feat in 178 games, beating the previous record of 219 games, which was held by Athletic Bilbao legend Telmo Zarra.

"The statistics he is reaching are crazy," said Sergio Ramos.

"The truth is it's a privilege that Real Madrid has a player like him.

"You have to invent words to describe him. He is breaking every record. At the moment, he is maybe in the best form of his career."

Ramos was not the only person bearing kind words for Ronaldo after Saturday's victory. Club manager Carlo Ancelotti hailed the former Manchester United star, insisting he is at his physical peak after single-handedly securing all three points for the 10-time Champions League winners.

"Having him in the team is a great advantage," the former AC Milan boss told reporters. "He is doing very well at that moment, he is extraordinarily motivated and physically he is at his peak."
