The Portuguese striker received the award for his goals in European competitions with his club and with his National Team.

Before FIFA gives away this year's Ballon D'Or, Cristiano Ronaldo received yet another award for his goal scoring capabilites. The Portuguese superstar received the 2013 World's Top Goalscorer trophy, awarded by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

According to Real Madrid's website, CR7 scored 15 goals for Real Madrid in the Champions League and 10 for Portugal during 2013. Taking all competitions into account, he racked up 69 goals, his best goalscoring return in a calendar year up until now.

This season, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 20 goals in La Liga, adding up to his total four goals in the current UEFA Champions League edition.
