The Argentinian striker said he could take the complicated task of bringing Messi to play in the Premier League, given the great relationship between them.

For the last few weeks, Lionel Messi's future with Barcelona has been the subject of controversy. Yesterday, his friend and fellow Argentinian Sergio Aguero revealed his intention to convince Messi of playing in the Premier League. Last week, rumors indicated the Barcelona superstar would consider a move to the English top-flight division with Chelsea, but manager Jose Mourinho dismissed such rumors. Now, Agüero has refueled speculation about "La Pulga's" future.

"It will not be easy, but I will try to convince him. Of course I would like him to play here, it's important that every great player in the world has a chance to play in the Premier League," Aguero stated.

Both footballers go way back, since they were always paired together in the Under age categories. During this summer's World Cup, both players shared the bedroom and have been deemed as close friends.

"El Kun" received the Best Player of the year award, given by The Football Supporters Association. There, Agüero expressed how special the trophy is to him.

"I have to say it's amazing to receive this trophy. It's very important for me because I was voted by the fans. I have to thank everyone of them, my team-mates, and all of Manchester City's organization," the striker added.
