Sources indicate that Josep Maria Bartomeu, Barcelona's president, has approved the project and is happy with the new design.

Sources indicate Barcelona's new uniform could be a clear offense to their 115 year history. Controversy emerged today when a Barcelona newspaper revealed the club's jerseys for the 2015-16 season, in which the first kit would feature horizontal red and blue stripes for the first time.

The second kit would have the same colors as the Catalunyan senyera, yellow and red, but the red stripes would only be featured on the back side of the shirt. Neither the team nor the sponsor have issued a statement regarding these designs that are already flooding sports websites.

Both designs would also feature changes in their shorts. The first kit allegedly would have red as the dominant color, just like the uniform for the 2012-2013 season. The away kit would be completed with a blue short, according to the Spanish newspaper.

This is how Barcelona's kit would look like next season.
