Pele has shown signs of improvement in the past few days, but his release date from the hospital is yet to be determined by the legend's doctor.

According to the last medical reports, Brazilian legend Pelé is getting better from a kidney disfunction, which forced his family to keep him under surveillance. Pele's doctors have stated the former player has been removed from intensive care, and has shown signs of improvement in the last few days.

"O Rei" recently underwent a medical procedure to remove kidney and vesicular stones, and he was given a clear bill of health just two days before returning to the hospital, this time to be treated of a urinal tract infection. On November 26, Pelé was placed in an intensive care unit, but has shown improvement for the last few days.

The hospital's medical report on Edson Arantes Do Nascimento states the Brazilian legend has been eating correctly, is completely awake and even walks inside his room, and has ceased to receive kidney treatment since Sunday evening.

Given that he is still receiving antibiotics, the doctors have not stated when he will be released from the hospital.
