Antonio Mohamed's crew lost the first leg of their quarterfinal matchup against UNAM, and will try to break a five game streak without a win in their home turf.

Club America faces elimination against one of their most hated opponents. Pumas found the way to make the Apertura 2014 leaders nervous, and will surely try to make things go the wrong way for Antonio Mohamed's men.

Things have turned ugly for America during the past few weeks. Las Aguilas fell into a slump during the defining moments of the season, and will have to appeal to their self respect once again if they want to make things happen for them. America need some of their top players to find their best football as soon as possible, including striker Oribe Peralta and Rubens Sambueza, who is still questionable for Saturday's match due to a calf injury. If these two players don't show their best, then America could be packing their bags earlier than expected.

For Pumas, this is the best chance they will have to redeem a mediocre tournament. Having fired coach Jose Luis Trejo, UNAM hired Guillermo Vazquez to lead them one more time, and a series of combinations landed them the eighth spot in the Apertura 2014 playoffs. Striker Eduardo Herrera has found his best form, and midfielders Daniel Ludueña and Martin Romagnoli have provided the experience in the middle of the pitch that could give fans something to talk about for a long time.

In order to make it to the semi finals, America need to win the game. But if Pumas score, America will have to score three goals, in order to avoid the away goals rule.
