Liverpool vs Stoke will be featured in the Premier League this Saturday on the 29th of November at Anfield.

The Reds are without a victory in their last five matches in all competitions and will be desperate to put their season back on track. A run of four consecutive losses was followed by a 2-2 draw against Ludogorets last time out a match which was a must win for Liverpool in order for the Reds to enhance their chances of making it to the next round of Europe's elite competition.

However Liverpool failed to get the better of the fourth placed side in Group B and were a goal behind after just three minutes as Simon Mignolet's error gave the Bulgarian side the lead. Liverpool responded swiftly through Rickie Lambert who following his goal against Crystal Palace registered another on Wednesday to score the equalizer. Henderson gave Liverpool the lead moments before half time after good work from youngster Raheem Sterling. However the former Sunderland man failed to extend Liverpool's lead when presented with the chance and his team paid the price with Terziev scoring the equalizer just two minutes before full time.

Following Liverpool's disastrous run, manager Brendan Rodgers' job at the club has come under fire however the Northern Irishman has insisted that his players must maintain focus on the upcoming matches.

"A few months ago I was manager of the year, now I'm tipped to get sacked. All I can focus on is what you can control," he said.

"We just need to focus on the now, not dwell on the bad results," he added. "We get to go again. We were competitive the other night (against Ludogorets), worked well, and now we want to take this into the Premier League against Stoke."

"There's a lot of time left, a big chunk of the season to go. We have been nowhere near what we would expect. We're five points off the top four and the points total is the lowest it has been in the Premier League, so it tells you it is a unique league this year.

Stoke on the other hand have already recorded away wins at the expense of Manchester City and Stoke and will be hoping to heap misery on Brendan Rodgers' side. Asmir Begovic, Geoff Cameron and Phil Bardsley are all expected to recover from a virus and return to the squad. Marc Wilson (hamstring) and Erik Pieters (calf) could also feature after missing the match against Burnley. Oussama Assaidi who is on loan from Liverpool will be ineligible to play against his parent club.
