Brazilian football legend Pelé has the world's attention again, but this time because of his health condition. The former player, considered the best footballer of all time, was transferred to a special care unit in Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo due to a urinary tract infection.

'O Rei' had some kidney stones removed on November 13, and was admitted into the hospital to monitor his advances after the medical procedure. Through a press release, the Medical unit explained Pelé's condition and the actions taken to provide him the best medical treatment possible.

"The patient Edson Arantes Do Nascimento remains in the hospital with an unstable condition. To make sure he gets the best care, he will be transferred for monitoring to an intensive care unit," can be read in the press release.

Sources indicate the former player was transferred to the new unit to provide more privacy for him and his family, but his condition will be kept under suveilance to avoid further complications.
