Germany are still the world’s best while there are no move in or out of the FIFA Ranking’s Top 10. Spain and Portugal have moved up. Uruguay have gone down to 10th in the chart.
Outside the Top 10, there are more meaningful changes with Roy Hodgson’s England jumping seven places to rank 13th. Notable changes also include Algeria’s drop from 15th to 18th in the world, Tunisia’s breakthrough into the Top 25 and USA’s fall to 28th.
The Faroe Islands received the biggest amount of points (275) and also made the biggest jump (82 places up). On the contrary, Iraq are the biggest losers, going 23 ranks down to occupy the 104th position in the world. There is bad news for Africa’s former invincible nation, the Pharaohs of Egypt. They have suffered an 131-point drop – the highest in the November 2014 edition.
