The Paris Saint-Germain attacker also chose "the genius" Lionel Messi, completing his team's attack, whilst failing to name Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo in the squad.

When Paris Saint-Germain's talismanic striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic was asked to name his Dream Team squad, many could be forgiven for expecting the eccentric Swede to do the unexpected.

And he did! When given the task of choosing a player to spearhead his very own Dream Team's attack, the former AC Milan and Barcelona striker named himself in his all-time best starting eleven. Zlatan even went as far as labeling himself as “the God”.

Involved in his side's 3-1 win over Ajax on Tuesday in the Champions League, making it on the scoresheet, the 33-year-old attacker sat down with the Ligue 1 champions' media team, picking Argentine and Brazilian team-mate Maxwell and Thiago Silva to lead his Dream Team's defense.

Other names to make Ibrahimovic's squad included Juventus' veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, 1998 World Cup winner Lilian Thuram, 2006 World Cup-winning captain Fabio Cannavaro.

Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira, Blaugrana midfield duo Xavi and Andres Iniesta, and former Czech skipper Pavel Nedved were all chosen, with Argentine superstar Lionel Messi, who Zlatan nicknamed “the genius”, also making the cut.

Two big names to miss out on Les Parisiens' ace's list: Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldo.
