The Italian midfielder arrived to Atletico this summer, but hasn't been able to become a regular for coach Diego Simeone.

Italian midfielder Alessio Cerci is not happy with his current situation with Atletico Madrid. After yesterday's game with his National Team against Albania, "The Bull" revealed he would consider returning to his home country if things don't change with the current Spanish champions.

"It's pretty clear I did not go to Spain just to on the bench. I have always been in the spotlight, and I'm not comfortable being a sub. We'll see what happens with Atletico and maybe in January I will know what I'm going to do," Cerci stated.

Rumors indicate the former Torino player would be considering a move back to Italy to play for Inter Milan, where newly appointed coach Roberto Mancini has made him a priority signing for the next transfer window.

Atletico Madrid signed the player during the past summer, paying his former club Torino 16 million Euros. With that on their mind, Atletico may not be willing to get rid of the Italian midfielder after just six months.

Cerci has only played in 114 minutes for Atletico, managing to score only one goal with the Spanish champions.
