Reports indicate that the Blues 'keeper could be on the move as early as this January.

Despite being a vital part of Chelsea's success in recent times, long-serving keeper Petr Cech has long been subject of speculation regarding his future at Stamford Bridge.

The emergence and return of young Belgian international Thibaut Courtois has largely restricted him to a smattering of appearances as Jose Mourinho clearly favors the rising star over the veteran shot-stopper.

As a result, reports indicate that the 32-year-old's tenure with the Blues is set to come to an end this January. While clubs like PSG, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Real Madrid have all been linked with his services, Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger is apparently ready to pay £7 million to have Cech make a cross-town switch.

Moreover, as per the English publication Metro, the Czech star will also see his £100,000 weekly pay packet matched by the Gunners.

After a decade with Chelsea, Petr Cech could be featuring for another London side starting next year

However, given that Arsenal do already have Wojciech Szczęsny as the first choice no. 1, it will be interesting to see how this transfer story plays out, and should Cech make the move, how he would compete with the Polish international for the starting spot.
