The Portuguese striker led his national team in a tight win against Armenia, who showed great defensive skills against the hosts.

It seems Cristiano Ronaldo is set to become the all time scoring leader in virtually every tournament he sets his feet in. Today, the Portuguese striker became the top scorer for UEFA's European Cup tournament, counting Qualifying matches and Finals.

The Portuguese team struggled throught the match to beat the well placed Armenian side. Fernando Santos' men grew even more desperate, knowing they needed to win in order to keep their hopes of attending the European tournament.

After the break, Portugal intensified their actions against the Armenian net. The visitors were not able to give the ball to Henrik Mkhitaryan, but seemed comfortable with the partial result. Then, the Portuguese took a shot that Berezovsky could not hold, Nani took the rebound and served Cristiano Ronaldo, who just had to tap the ball in to start madness among local fans.

Of course, Cristiano Ronaldo's fandom had something to say about their idol's new accomplishment. Read some of their reactions below.

"I can see Cristiano Ronaldo getting a new Ballon D'Or."

"Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 450 goals in official matches."
