The Italian managers were made aware of the club's decision during the past 24 hours. Mazzarri leaves the club after just 15 months as Inter's head coach.

Walter Mazzarri was not able to bring success to his adventure with Inter Milan. With eleven games so far this season, the Italian club decided to sack the former Napoli manager, who leaves the club holding the ninth position with sixteen points. Mazzarri arrived for the 2013-2014 season, and managed the "neroazzurri" to a fifth place finish last year, earning a spot in the UEFA Europa League. This season, the Italian club left several points behind by drawing against lower ranked teams, which ignited rumors regardin Mazzarri's departure. Right now, Inter Milan are 12 points behind leaders Juventus.

To substitute Mazzarri, Inter Milan will trust Roberto Mancini one more time, after being led by the former Manchester City coach for four years, winning three Scudettos in that term, including one after the famous "Calciopoli" scandal.

Mancini left Inter to sign a contract with Manchester City, where he managed to win an FA Cup and a Premier League, remembered by the Sky Blues fans for that come-from behind win against Queens Park Rangers in the final minutes of the game.

After coaching The Citizens for four years, Mancini was hired by Galatasaray, leading the red and yellow team to the Quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League, where they were eliminated by Chelsea.
