USA vs Colombia will go live on Friday, the 14th of November at the Craven Cottage which is home to London based club Fulham.

The USMNT has enjoyed a productive year and will be looking to create an impression when it faces the third best ranked team in football. After a highly successful World Cup campaign which saw USA making its way to the Round of 16 of the competition, Jurgen Klinsmann‘s men have secured a win and two draws in their subsequent fixtures.

A win against Czech Republic was followed by a 1-1 draw against Ecuador. However Klinsmann will be disappointed with his team's performance in their last game when they failed to get the better of Honduras.

USA now have a tough task ahead as they face the dark horses of the World Cup 2014. Colombia enjoyed a dream run in the illustrious tournament before being knocked out by Brazil and USA will certainly have a hard time dealing with the attacking threat the South American side poses.

Klinsmann on the other hand is not afraid of the task at hands and is seemingly already planning for the future. His squad comprises of young blood as well as senior players who he hopes can offer guidance to the youngsters part of the squad.

“They have to help to get these youngsters to another level, it’s really their job and that’s what we ask them,” he said.

“In a transition phase after a World Cup we need these older players. They have to show the youngsters what it takes to become consistent, not only on the field but off it as well.”

Colombia on the other hand have continued their impressive run and after a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Brazil in a friendly match Los Cafeteros picked back to back wins at the expense of El Salvador and Canada.

José Pékerman's men however endured a frustrating outing against Canada last time out until they were rescued by star man James Rodriguez who struck late to ensure Colombia won the match. Man United star Radamel Falcao who missed the World Cup will once again be absent for Colombia for their friendly matches against USA as well as Slovenia as he continues nursing his calf injury.

The 28 year old has missed the last four games for the Red Devils and has not started a game since the 5th of October when he scored his only goal for the Red Devils during their 2-1 win over Everton.
