Real Madrid's center back feels some players are more commited to their clubs, so he asked them to show the same respect for their country's squad.

Spanish defender Sergio Ramos will be back with his National Team after recovering from an injury to his right leg. Before this week's matches against Belarus and Germany, Ramos asked his fellow La Roja teammates to give everything for the team, since he believes not all of them are committed at their fullest with Vicente del Bosque's team.

"I think you have to show the same respect for your National Team as for your club. You have to transmit that feeling to those newcomers, and you can't just simply say 'I'm tired' or 'I've got injured last weekend'. Many times I've been injured and I have played with Spain, and that level of commitment will be recognized by the fans and will be a part of your success on the long run," Ramos stated.

The former Sevilla player answered a number of questions regarding his possible retirement from the National Team, and he was clear enough about what he would like when the time comes to hang his boots.

"People have wanted us to retire for a long time now, but we keep on going. When the time comes for me to give my place up, I don't know how I will take it, but what I really want is to retire myself. I don't want to be pushed to the option after coming down with an injury or because you just are not fit anymore. You have to be aware when you can't compete with younger players, and I just hope I can make it more complicated to those players that are rising right now," Ramos added.
