The Spanish coach believes his players have understood what he wants from them, since they remain undefeated in their last 17 matches

Spanish coach Pep Guardiola believes his team is playing better than last season, according to an interview released on the club's website. The former Barcelona coach stated his players "pass the ball better and run less" than last year, giving them a chance to perform better.

"Our recent results confirm that we are on the right track. Our players are working wonderfully, because they are always looking to improve. We are a little better because we run less and pass the ball around better," Guardiola said.

Despite remaining undefeated for the last 17 games, Guardiola does not feel comfortable with what they have accomplished, since there are a lot of games to be played this season.

"Nevertheless, we are not playing the way I want my team to play. There's always room for improvement, and to be honest, November just started. It would be really boring if we peaked this soon in the year. We will try to improve, and it's easier to do so when you are winning," Guardiola added.

Bayern Munich has already secured the top spot in their UEFA Champions League group, and hold the first place in the Bundesliga with a four point margin over Wolfsburg.
