Despite just arriving in Italy this summer, the Rossoneri could be ready to send the Chelsea loanee back to London.

According to reports, one of Milan's new loan signings' future at San Siro is up in the air.

The Rossoneri brought in Chelsea duo Fernando Torres and Marco van Ginkel this summer in an attempt to refurbish their squad, but neither Blues man has been a hit since arriving at the San Siro.

Torres' struggles are well documented, but in the background his teammate has also been floundering. Ever since suffering an injury on his debut, the 21-year-old has barely featured for Filippo Inzaghi's side, despite, according to his agent, having fully recovered.

The young Dutchman was injured on his debut and since then has only played about 30 minutes for the Serie A side

"Marco began the season at Milan on the bench, but that was to be expected as it was a period of acclimatization to a new league and country," his agent, Karel Jansen, recently stated to Fox Sports Italia.

"However, he has now recovered from his injury and still continues to find little playing time, and we are are not happy.

"This was made very clear when he came here on loan. He didn't come to Milan to remain on the bench, and simply put, it goes against all logic."

Interestingly, recent reports indicate that he did stop short of outright claiming that his client could leave, noting that he would be keen on fighting for his place in the starting XI. With the team struggling after their high-flying start, though, it remains to be seen whether Inzaghi opts to integrate him into his line-up going forward as they seek to get back on track.
