Despite giving away the first goal of the game, Pep Guardiola's team came back to win the game during the final 20 minutes of the match.

Bayern Munich struggled, but ended up winning their classic matchup against Borussia Dortmund, which seemingly can't get out of their current crisis.

Borussia Dortmund started the game with a bang, dominating the first 45 minutes and scoring the first goal, when Marco Reus headed a fine cross by Aubameyang after 31 minutes. One of the most sought out players of the world made his mark, but was not able to extend their lead.

After the halftime break, Bayern tried hard but could not get past Mats Hummels until his substitution. His replacement, Nevem Subotic, would become one of the game's main characters, when he failed to clear a pass by Franck Ribery, leaving the ball to Robert Lewandowski, who scored his fifth goal of the season.

When the game was nearing its final minutes, Ribery dribbled Subotic, who started pulling the French's arm. Ribery fell into the penalty box and a foul was called. Robben took responsibility and netted the ball past Roman Weidenfeller. With this win, Bayern keep leading the Bundesliga standings, while Borussia Dortmund keep falling behind and now hold the fifteenth spot.
