Shrewsbury vs Chelsea will go live this Tuesday in a Capital One Cup encounter at Greenhous Meadow.

Chelsea come into this match following a thriller against Man United over the weekend which ended in a 1-1 draw. Didier Drogba scored his first Premier League goal after his return to Stamford Bridge, guiding Fabregas' corner to the back of the net. It seemed as if the Blues would run away with all three points until a last ditch goal from Robin Van Persie settled the tie as the match ended in a draw.

Despite the draw Mourinho's men still look strong and are currently top of the table in the Barclays Premier League. The Blues have scored 24 goals in just nine games and Shrewsbury will have to be vary of a Chelsea side which in spite of being without star striker Diego Costa can be very lethal.

The draw has been rather kind to Chelsea who have been drawn against League two side Shrewsbury having already beaten Bolton in the last round. Even though winning the Capital One Cup might not be top priority for the club, Jose Mourinho would do his best to go as far in the competition as possible. Many of the fringe players are expected to feature in Tuesday's encounter including the likes of Mohamed Salah, Andre Schurrle as well as Kurt Zouma.

Shrewsbury on the other hand have been on a fine run at home having won nine and drawn one of their 10 home fixtures in all competitions this season. They qualified for the fourth round of the tournament after victories over Premier League outfit Leicester City and Championship side Norwich City.

Despite of the mammoth of a task which awaits his team as they try to get the better of currently the best side in England, Shrewsbury manager Micky Mellon has been in a buoyant mood and is looking forward to host Chelsea and Jose Mourinho.

"I want to learn everything about how the best in the business operates. If we can take anything from that and make this wonderful football club better," he said.

"Then I'm determined to that, I want to take any opportunity to move us forwards."

"Jose deserves and probably loves his nickname."

"It's not about me, I'm not that type of manager or guy. I'm here to make the team win games and I am a facility for the players, it's not my show."

"It's a cup tie, we want to try to win and get to the quarter-finals, we are not going to come and make numbers up. We are going to try to knock them out."
