Despite the 3-1 loss to Los Blancos, the Brazilian attacker can walk away from the Bernabeu encounter knowing he achieved an impressive individual feat in El Clasico

Despite suffering a 3-1 loss at the hands of bitter rivals Real Madrid, Barcelona star Neymar can walk away from El Clasico with his head up high.

The club's current leading scorer with nine goals, Neymar awarded the Catalan giants an early lead in Saturday's clash, netting past Iker Casillas after only three minutes of play.

An impressive goal, in which the Brazilian dispatched a curling shot into the bottom right corner of the net after beating Dani Carvajal and Pepe, Neymar equaled the record for the fastest goal scored by a Barcelona player at Santiago Bernabeu.

The 22-year-old former Santos ace drew level with the feat held by former Blaugranas Bustillo and Pascual.

Making a blistering start to Saturday's clash, Barcelona were outclassed by Los Blancos as Carlo Ancelotti's men ran riot on Luis Enrique's side, scoring twice in the second-half to dish out Barcelona's first La Liga defeat of the season.

After the game, Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos issued out a message of warning to the Catalan giants, stating his side are capable of dominating last season's Spanish Primera Division runners-up.

"We read the game well. We knew when to play on the counter and when to commit men forward. They're not used to sides dominating the game against them and we did a lot of damage with that. They're not the only ones who can play," the 28-year-old La Furia Roja defender claimed.
